Mytholodge’s new release Impulse/Inertia sees Goro advance his newfound techno aptitude in a more minimalistic fashion. The 3 track EP orbits around a percussion driven bassline, which climaxes in the epic lushness of the Krueger remix. The EP opener, Impulse builds up tension with some explicit tribal drumwork, which is in turn accentuated by muddled vocals. Inertia retains the percussion-centric approach, but pulsates much deeper, layered with funk infused vocals.
